Jo Awcock , 36 yrs, is from Bristol. She is married and works for Foster Care Associates. Jo has very little outdoor experience. Reason for going: “I want to realise a huge personal challenge and whilst doing so raise money and awareness for Foster Care Associates.”

Mark Gooding , 37 yrs, is from Trowbridge. He works with Jo at Foster Care Associates. Mark is a keen mountain bike rider and triathlete, who in 2003 succeeded the ‘Ironman’ distance. Reason for going: I want to meet the challenge of a major adventure.”

Natasha Ridewood , 31 yrs, from Bottesford is a recruitment consultant who works with Fiona at Harper’s in Nottingham. She is a keen runner, but has limited outdoor experience. Reason for going: “I want to succeed at something challenging and raise awareness and money for kidney research.” 

Sirion Penfold , 37 yrs, from Bottesford is Natasha's partner and has taken a year off work to build his new home. He is a keen climber and motorcyclist. Sirion keeps fit by cycling and has previously competed in both road race and time trial events. Reason for going: “I want to experience a new physical challenge, in a demanding environment.”
